Job Title : IT Project Manager Professional Location : Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Duration : 12 Months Only local candidates H1B, USC, GC Experience: 7 yrs. Interview information: Rounds: Single round. ON-SITE INTERVIEW Duration: 60 minutes Required Skills: 3 years of working in a software development environment (SDLC), ServiceNow, Jira, Degree in Computer Science or applied math (preferred), particularly looking for candidates with experience working in a software development environment (must have been a software developer in the past before moving on to becoming an IT PM ). Soft Skills Required: Good problem solver, strong verbal and written communication skills, able to quickly escalate when needed. Looking for an IT Project Manager with 3 - 6 years of experience. The Client highly prefers Systems engineers who understands the Software Development Lifecycle. Working with development team. Must have excellent communication skills. Will be talking to a lot of divisions / stakeholders. The candidate has to be a proactive problem solver. Should be able to escalate issue's appropriately i.e., communicate with the incident manager to resolve the issue. The PM should be apt in finding resolutions to issues. Must have a Computer Science degree OR Applied Math degree. The candidate must have experience with Linux and Unix environment. Must have ServiceNow (ticketing) and Jira (for artifacts tracking) experience. Jira and ServiceNow constitute 5% of the PM's work. Deployments happen once or twice a month. Deployments happen after 8pm and take an hour to complete. Candidate will be remote during the deployments. Sometimes deployments take place on Saturdays as well. Overview: Understand and support the Lifecycle of model application Governance Process from planning to implementation. Maintain and implement model risk governance framework within the regulatory environment and maintain all governance documents. Build and maintain data quality reporting. Maintenance and management of application lifecycle deliverables, documentation and process templates. Planning and conducting meetings and sending follow-up communications, minutes. Roll out the I&CM data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality, issue management and the protection of data through appropriate procedures and controls. Identify, assess and design remediation action plans for data issues and monitor their progress to completion. Analyze risks related to data, monitor key indicators, and produce monthly risk governance reports and materials for management. Support multiple, simultaneous projects in a rapid development environment involving different types of technical and business partners. Track and prepare senior management reporting documents, take ownership and follow-up with relevant stakeholders. Develop project plans, including project schedule and timeline, and track projects according to schedule. Accurately assess, manage, and report risks and issues. Demonstrate ownership of problems, issues, and requests from start to finish - facilitate appropriate handoffs and stakeholder engagement while ensuring resolution. Maintain customer relationships to ensure the project implementation and prioritization fulfills business objectives. Help business and technology adapt to changing priorities swiftly and efficiently. Develop an integrated understanding of business needs and technical implementation details sufficient to interface between business and technical teams as needed and help synthesize requirements and constraints from both parties.
