Cleared Python Engineer

Cleared Python Engineer Join Bestgate Engineering, where we develop innovative solutions for mission-critical systems. We’re looking for a Python Engineer to help implement a Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) solution as part of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for High-Performance Computing Systems. This includes schema design, interface development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. Required Experience: 2 years of Software Engineering experience with application development languages such as Python, Java, C/C++. Proficiency in Python development in a Linux environment. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible. Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB). Experience with REST API design and implementation. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI. Experience with containerization technologies (Podman, Docker). Proficiency with Git version control. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; in lieu of a degree and 2 years of experience, 4 years of relevant engineering experience will be considered; a Master’s degree in a related field may be accepted with no prior experience required. Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly Desired Experience: Knowledge of messaging frameworks (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ). Experience with metrics tools (Grafana, Kibana). Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence). Experience with Pytest for testing. Salary Range: $115,000 - $160,000 The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary. The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position.
