Job Title: Jr. SCADA Analyst Location: Dallas, TX (Full-time) Industry: Energy Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Jr. SCADA Analyst to join an energy client in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Wonderware and/or Telvent/OASyS SCADA systems and a passion for optimizing Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in SCADA development and contribute to critical projects in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities: SCADA System Programming & Optimization Program, configure, and optimize OT instrumentation and control devices. Analyze performance data to establish system requirements and recommend enhancements for operating efficiency. Investigate root causes of system, process, and equipment failures and develop effective remediation strategies. HMI Design & Enhancement Design and improve SCADA Human Machine Interface (HMI) control logic and display screens for enhanced operator usability and efficiency. Manage HMI patches and upgrades to ensure seamless operation. Maintain the integrity and accessibility of real-time and historical databases and graphical user interfaces. System & Network Administration Perform system and network administration tasks for the OT infrastructure. Configure, test, and commission networks, including routers, firewalls, network switches, end devices, and cable/wireless communication systems. Cybersecurity Implementation Deploy, integrate, and configure security solutions for OT systems. Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and implement best practices to enhance system security. Minimum Requirements: Educational/Experience Level: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Four years of progressively responsible professional experience in computer programming and operating systems analysis; or equivalent. Qualifications: Experience working with Wonderware and/or Telvent/OASyS SCADA systems. Understanding of OT instrumentation, control devices, and SCADA system optimization. Knowledge of HMI design, including control logic and display screen development. Familiarity with network configuration, testing, and commissioning of OT infrastructure components (routers, firewalls, switches, etc.). Awareness of cybersecurity principles and standards related to OT systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance trends and recommend solutions.
