For one of our ongoing multiyear project we are looking for a Certified Microsoft .NET web Developer out of Madison, WI. This position will work on high profile web application projects within the FSE section. The projects include .NET MVC and .NET Core web applications with heavy use of JavaScript, jQuery, Angular and Kendo UI components. The projects involve modernization of legacy DB2 mainframe applications to web applications using WebAPI , n-tier architecture and SQL Server. The person in this position will work closely within a team and have input in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web applications. Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end web application development, testing, code reviews, implementation and mentoring within a team environment. Deliverables include technical documentation, agile story estimation and quality code delivery. Strong technical mastery of front and backend coding is required. Must Have: Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation General Competencies Analytical/problem solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Application Development and Support of IIS/ ASP.Net/ MVC/ DB2/ Oracle Server Based Systems Using Visual Studio .Net Application and Web Application Design Patterns Data flow and structure modeling MS SQL Server SQL Client tools Data modeling Object Oriented Architecture Documenting requirements and design In-Depth Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle Deliverables for each Phase of Development Requirements analysis Stress Testing, Performance Testing, and Load Testing Unit Testing Web Service Development Nice to Have: Change Management Understanding of project management methodologies Kendo UI Framework MS Office products DB2 Oracle Integration of web application security with Active Directory Application Life Cycle Management using Team Foundation Server Automated Testing and Continuous Integration Experience as a developer in large, very complex organization Requirements gathering Authentication and authorization techniques in ASP.Net Techniques for securing against threat Experience working in large teams is required. Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and TFS continuous integration is required. Knowledge of responsive web app development is required. Knowledge of DCF Childcare programs, prior experience with the Wisconsin CARES system and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards is highly preferred and familiarity with the DCF Young Star application is a plus
