Job Summary: As a Software Applications Engineer Intern you will be responsible for working to develop software applications and solutions which make sense of Pison's ML algorithm inferences. The work will be guided by the team lead and driven by Product Managers. The SW Apps team delivers tools which take advantage of Pison's gesture detection technology. The work will be focused on supporting and delivering software tools for the Research and Algorithm teams, as well as integrating with external systems like UAS and UGV systems. Duties and Responsibilities Improve and add features to existing software applications developed by Pison Troubleshoot and debug issues with software applications as needed Status progress on tasks, and participate in code reviews Assist with the configuration and deployment of software applications and their integration with 3rd party software and hardware Required Skills Required Skills/Abilities: Native Mobile Development (Flutter, Kotlin Multi-Platform, React Native) Kotlin, Dart, Java, Javascript/Typescript Git (Github, Github Actions) Google Cloud Platform Services - BigQuery, Firebase Analytics (or similar; i.e AWS) Good verbal and written communication skills Excited to learn and a drive to solving problems Ability to quickly learn and integrate an API or SDK using documentation Ability to function in a high-paced work environment Ability to deliver products or solutions to vested stakeholders in a timely manner. Other relevant (non required Skills): Docker, Kubernetes Linux, macOS development environment experience Bash, zshell NodeJS Education and Experience: 3 years towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field at an accredited university Any examples of public source code repositories and/or projects a plus This Employer Participates in E-Verify We understand that candidates can feel discouraged if they do not tick every box.
