We own and operate over 85 apartment communities across the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern United States, with plans for expansion into other markets. We are seeking an experienced Plumber to take on various plumbing tasks within apartment settings. This role includes everything from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, excellent manual dexterity, and an eye for detail. The goal is to ensure the installation and maintenance of efficient systems that transport water, waste, or hot liquids. Key Responsibilities: Plumbing: Install and repair plumbing systems while considering the existing infrastructure, reviewing blueprints, and ensuring smooth operation of plumbing, waste disposal, and water lines in both commercial and residential structures. Preventative Care: Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems, including fixtures like bathtubs and toilets, and appliances such as water heaters and dishwashers. Maintenance: Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, domestic appliances, and plumbing fixtures like sinks, faucets, and toilets. Waste Disposal Management: Install and repair sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV (drain-waste-vent) systems. Service Requests: Ensure service requests are completed professionally within 24 hours, addressing plumbing emergencies as needed. Safety Commitment: Work closely with other technicians, prioritizing safety after installations or repairs when all systems are operational. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a plumber, with a solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Licensed plumber with credentials from trade school or apprenticeship programs. Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems and plumbing tools and equipment. Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and resolving issues. Physical ability to perform the tasks required, including working in awkward spaces, lifting up to 75 lbs, and frequent travel to properties. Must have work vehicle and basic plumbing tools. Valid driver's license and insurance.
