We are seeking a talented and driven Entertainment Litigation Attorney with expertise in copyright law to join our team. Job Description: As an Entertainment Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in complex copyright litigation cases, advising on copyright-related issues, and providing strategic counsel on a variety of entertainment law matters. You will work closely with clients from the music, film, television, publishing, and digital media industries, ensuring their intellectual property rights are protected and enforced. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in copyright infringement cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and appearing in court for hearings and trials. Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on copyright law and related intellectual property matters. Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes related to copyright and entertainment law issues. Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for protecting their creative works and maximizing the value of their intellectual property. Stay up-to-date on developments in copyright law and industry trends to provide cutting-edge legal advice. Work closely with other attorneys in the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in the state of Tennessee. Minimum of 2 years of experience in entertainment litigation, with a strong focus on copyright law. Proven track record of successfully handling copyright infringement cases. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure. Passion for the entertainment industry and a deep understanding of its legal landscape. Preferred Qualifications: Experience representing clients in the music industry. Familiarity with digital copyright issues and emerging technologies.
