Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other related technologies. Analyze existing programs and systems, identifying areas for optimization and modernization. Perform root-cause analysis for production issues, providing timely resolutions and updates. Integrate mainframe applications with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Partner with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. What's Needed? Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and other mainframe tools. Experience with TSO/ISPF, z/OS, and mainframe utilities. Hands-on experience with batch processing, debugging tools, and performance optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4 years of mainframe development experience OR equivalent work experience in mainframe development with a proven track record of success.
