JOB SUMMARY : Polar Semiconductor is seeking motivated candidates to fill the Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) role. As a Senior ISSE you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure compute environment for Polar's world class semiconductor manufacturing site. Candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing Polar's overall security posture by analyzing vulnerabilities and potential threats, conducting risk assessments, and developing and implementing best-in-class security solutions to protect Polar Semiconductor's assets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the secure design, analysis, and test of information security systems and products. Develops and implements security measures, policies, and procedures to protect systems and networks against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents. Monitors, responds, and remediates cybersecurity breaches. identifies intrusions, blocks, and removes unauthorized access. Educates on Cyber Security best practices. Manages Cyber Security awareness platform. Assists with technical direction in designing and implementing security solutions for corporate technical infrastructure and business applications Conducts security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and organizational security policies. Reports information to management regarding impact on the business caused by Infiltration, breach, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information and systems. Maintains awareness and knowledge of evolving security and risk management standards and communicate and apply relevant changes to existing processes SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Requires working knowledge of information security products including firewalls, monitoring and intrusion detection systems, anti-virus systems, vulnerability testing, and security analysis tools. Knowledge of Cyber Industry standards and Frameworks (ISO27001/CMMC 2.0/NIST/FIPS) Expert knowledge of Cryptographic systems (Certificate Authority/Cipher suites) VMWare/Hyper-V Virtualization Working knowledge of Purview or other DLP solution Experience working with SEIM Tools for event correlation and threat detection Comprehensive vulnerability remediation skillset Linux/Windows/Azure OS Administration skills Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security Thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems Ability to clearly and effectively communicate Proficiency in networking technologies, network security and network monitoring solutions Proven experience developing, operating and maintaining security systems In-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles WORKING CONDITIONS: Hybrid Remote (3 days per week in office) DESIRED/BENEFITICAL CERTIFICATIONS: CISSP/CompTIA Security /CompTIA CYSA QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field 10 or more years' work experience as a System Security Engineer or related position Ability to work together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures DOD Cyber related experience beneficial Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future
