Subject Matter Expert I

Job Description: Provide planning, coordination and technical management in support of NASA Ames Research Center (ARC). • Provide program management, cost estimating, EVM, resource management, contract management, scheduling, and risk management. • Maintains a thorough understanding of the schedule critical path and performs related analysis which may require projections, analysis of requirements, and data analysis. • Provide data management, data analysis, project control and project tracking support. • Support the development of requirements for unique integrated reporting for programs and projects that includes technical, cost, schedule, EVM, and risk analysis. • Assist in the development, updating, and execution of project management plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and developing other required project documentation. Experience Requirements: • 20 years (15 Aerospace/Research and Development) Required • Knowledge of Systems Engineering Practice and Risk Management • Knowledge of EVM policies and principles • Confluence and JIRA experience • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable Mandatory: 20 years (15 Aerospace/Research and Development) Required Certification Requirements: N/A Education Requirements: Mandatory: Master of Science/Master of Art required Work Type: Hybrid- Ames Research Center (ARC)- Mountain View, CA Clearance Requirements: Public Trust- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
