The Quanta Strategic Internship program offers the unique opportunity to work on the largest utility infrastructure projects across America; these projects are modernizing and developing the grid to be able to handle everything from 5G buildout to the boom in electric vehicles. INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHTS: 11-week paid summer internship program Lunch and Learn Series with Quanta Executive Speakers Site visit opportunities Multiple networking opportunities between interns and upper management What You'll Do As an IT intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to various aspects of our organization's information technology operations. You will work closely with our IT team, assisting them in day-to-day tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and participating in IT projects. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to different areas of IT and help you develop essential skills in a professional environment. ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES: Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects across the IT department. Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Assist with user support: Respond to and resolve basic technical issues reported by end-users through various channels such as email, phone, or in person. Assist in testing and evaluating new software applications or system upgrades to ensure functionality and compatibility. Assist in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing basic network configurations. Assist in data management: Support the IT team in data backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks. Assist with ongoing IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, or network enhancements, under the guidance of senior IT staff. What You'll Bring Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degree.
