Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. 5 years of industry experience in multinational companies, including 2 years as a DevOps Engineer in Linux/Windows environments. Knowledge of one or more scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Node.js, Ruby. Advanced Knowledge of source control technologies like Git, GitHub. Basic understanding of networking concepts like DNS, Subnetting, Gateways, DHCP/NAT, OSI Model, Firewall, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, HTTP/HTTPS protocols Hands-on experience in docker containers including but not limited to create/run containers, download/change an image, inspect active containers, docker networking, volume management, creating/using docker files, creating/using docker-compose files Hands-on experience in container orchestration technologies, e.g. Kubernetes, including cluster/node management, creating resources with YAML, creating/managing pods, replica/Dameon sets, services, volumes Hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform. Solid experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible, including ad-hoc commands, create/manage inventory files, create/run playbooks, variables/templating Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps (preferably), AWS CodePipeline. Hands-on experience in using monitoring and log management tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. Solid Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based DevOps solutions in Azure and AWS platforms. Familiarity with agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and estimation.
