About DropletPharma Corp. DropletPharma is developing two microscale devices to vastly accelerate radiopharmaceutical discovery and production and execute our vision to drastically improve health outcomes. As a software developer on our team, you will contribute to design, development and documentation of software systems for our two flagship systems. Work will be conducted in close coordination with engineering teams developing the hardware and will be an in-person position in Los Angeles, CA. What you will have ownership over: • Coding and documentation of the backend and frontend server software for both flagship systems • Development of a user interface for both systems • Develop a hardware "simulator" to decouple software development from the hardware system development • Testing of integration of software and hardware systems • Gathering design and user feedback from engineering team members and collaborators, and organizing software updates according to team priorities • Develop and maintain a system for software releases to facilitate effective work by the hardware engineering teams and chemistry application efforts • You will also contribute to design of high-level software architecture, design of APIs, database structure, and interfaces among different software components What we hope to see on your resume/CV: • M.S. or higher in computer science • 3 years of programming experience (e.g. Javascript, C++, python) • Extensive HTML, CSL experience • Experience with code collaboration in a team and expertise in source control and issue tracking platforms (e.g. Github) • Web/app programming experience5 • SQL-based database experience • Unit-testing experience What we hope to observe about you during our conversation about your work (even one great project/experience can cover all these): • Meticulous, logical, fundamental approach across all your work • Good programming style • Thorough documentation habits • Comfortable working in multiple programming languages • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment • Comfortable working on a small team and taking ownership of assigned projects and tasks • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and complete milestones on tight timelines • Strong technical communication skills (written, oral, slide presentations) • Examples of coding challenges you faced and how you overcame them And finally, experience that would be great, but not required: • UI/UX design experience Ensuring purpose and belonging at our company: Cancer and other debilitating diseases don't discriminate, and neither do we.
