ONSITE - Burns Harbor, Indiana Work schedule: 8am-5pm, on call on occasions after hours or on weekend for emergency support As a Systems Integration Engineer, they would be responsible for and be involved in all technical aspects of the development, implementation, and support of messaging interfaces between various Information Technology (IT) platforms including Manufacturing Execution Systems (PSI MES), Process Automation and Middleware (BizTalk/WebSphere), Mainframe (IMS) and Corporate Systems (SAP/COS). This Engineer will be working with other Systems Integrators, Application Architects, Business Leads, Suppliers, SAP and Corp. IT, Mainframe and Process Automation Engineers. The ideal candidate will have prior in-depth IT experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex computer systems. Summary of Responsibilities: • Hands-on in the identification, definition, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of interfaces between host system (MES System) and external systems (SAP, Level 2, Legacy Mainframe). • Develop and maintain technical specifications related to interfaces. • Develop, execute, and document integration test plan and test scripts. • Working with the IT infrastructure group to get the MES environments set up for development, test, and production. • Assist with the set up and support of the data warehouse. • Provide as needed assistance to the report developers / BI developers. • Ability to track down the Production orders. • Designing and developing System Integration SQL Server Database as needed for Message Transformations through Biztalk Server. • Create tables with parent and child relationships using Primary Key and Foreign Key. • Analyze and resolve database constraints like Column check constraints, Default Values, Not Null. • Appropriate table creation and column Indexes for improved performance. • Ability to write SQL and PL/SQL queries to process the data from Database and for data verification / troubleshooting. • Object oriented design, programming, testing, and implementing solution involving Biztalk server programming, C# programming and SQL Server to Transform/Process Data for Manufacturing Execution Systems. • Involvement and support of various Biztalk Server components. • Design and develop a Windows Service to automate the Biztalk applications deployment using BTDF Framework. • Proficiency in XML schemas, MQ and MSMQ messaging protocol and program accordingly. • Object oriented design, coding, testing and implementation of Dotnet Windows, Web applications and Windows Services. • Develop Generic windows service to Automate the historic data purging of SQL Server tables. • Maintain the Dotnet windows and Web Applications deployed in all environments, i.e., Development, QA, Test and Production. • DOTNET Web Application development using OOPs concepts and ASP.NET MVC. • Follow IT Change Management process for implementation of changes in production environment. Maintain necessary documentation to show compliance to the process. • Build Automated tool wherever needed to automate the manual processes. Minimum Requirements: • BS in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent experience Knowledge of database design including the ability to write PL/SQL queries for data verification / troubleshooting • 2 years of experience of coding object-oriented programs like Python, VB, C#, Java, C++ • Experience of building or maintaining interfaces between systems • Understanding of XML schemas • One full cycle of software solution implementation (requirement gathering, design, development, testing and commissioning) as systems integrator • Strong analytical ability and strong interest in systems troubleshooting • Proficiency in Microsoft tools suite - Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word • Excellent ability to communicate across all levels of the organization • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and coordinate activities • Initiative-taking with the ability to work in a group environment and independently • Possess a strong sense of urgency • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure Preferred Requirements: • BS and MS in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent experience • 3 years' experience as systems integrator • Middleware experience (e.g., WebSphere/ IBM MQ, BizTalk/MSMQ) • Web and windows development experience using .Net Technologies • Experience of BI Report development Required Skills : BizTalk MSMQ IBM Mainframe C# VB Python Java C++ PL SQL Database design Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check :Yes Drug Screen :Yes Notes : Selling points for candidate : Project Verification Info : Candidate must be your W2 Employee :Yes Exclusive to Apex :No Face to face interview required :No Candidate must be local :Yes Candidate must be authorized to work without sponsorship ::No Interview times set : :No Type of project :Integration Master Job Title :Net/Sys Eng: Other Branch Code :Chicago
