Job Description Are you an skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney with a track record of defending companies? Our client is looking for an attorney to join their team. Responsibilities: Defend client companies in workers' compensation cases. Provide legal counsel and representation throughout all litigation stages. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents. Collaborate with support staff, medical professionals, and experts to build compelling cases. Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required. Stay informed on legal trends, regulations, and case law in workers' compensation. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. 1-3 years of experience focused on defending businesses in workers' compensation cases. Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and all levels of management. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom presentation skills.
