Roles & Responsibilities: Leading and managing multiple tax engagements that integrate tax efficiency with long-term tax planning strategies Prepare and review multi-state, C corporation tax returns, pass-through entity and individual tax returns, and exempt organization tax filings Participate in tax consulting engagements addressing various areas such as converting S corporations and LLCs to C corporations, cash to accrual adjustments and R&D tax credits Working with all types of business entities including corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, fiduciary, and non-profits Facilitating complex tax research, and establishing tax strategies to client business opportunities Advise regarding IRS and state issues, and respond to correspondence and audits Assisting with interim tax projections and year end closeouts Implementing tax advice in response to new legislations and planning Contribute to firm marketing and business development activities Providing supervision, training, mentoring and guidance to tax staff, seniors and other members of the team Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance Active CPA License 7 years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm with superior client service 3 years of Trust and Estate experience Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks, ProSystem fx, CCH Access, and BNA Tax Planner, preferred. Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills with a demonstrated record of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines Working Conditions Able to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles Rubino & Company is an organization committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees, clients, partners, and communities.
