Business Analyst, For Production and Customer Service Department Carlson Wagonlit Travel SatoTravel (CWTSatoTravel) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support our Production and Customer Service Team. As a Business Analyst, you will create and compile reports using a variety of reporting tools. Provide analytical support of ongoing client optimization consulting and reporting engagements, maintaining operational reporting and analysis efforts, and supporting the ongoing development of reporting and consulting deliverables. Support ongoing organizational growth through internal analysis as needed. Identifying trends using data analysis. Job Description Utilize reporting systems to pull, analyze, and report client-specific data from already created reports. Revise report templates to meet specific business needs Manipulate client and benchmarking data using reporting systems and/or MS Office products to deliver desired analysis Partner with internal resources to build upon current operations reporting and efficiency metrics Identify recurrent trends, identifying source and cause, in order to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement Analyze reporting, data, and industry trends to develop recommendations for client savings and renegotiation opportunities Participate in and contribute to industry updates and marketplace analysis Support the development of data analysis standards and methodology, identify and obtain industry data sources, and create quality control filters to support multi-client analysis Support the creation of consulting deliverables or Production initiatives, including process mapping. Liaise with other departments as necessary to insure format changes and client specifications are adopted and implemented uniformly Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 2 years of experience working in a business environment with 1 year of experience compiling reports and analyzing data. OR 4 years of experience working in a business environment that includes 2 years of experience compiling reports and analyzing data Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with MS Access preferred Travel industry knowledge preferred Excellent oral/written communication skills to communicate internally Ability to independently learn new systems Good critical thinking skills Ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment Strong customer service orientation Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources Strong attention to detail and self-motivated Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources Ability to manage time and prioritize workload efficiently, work independently and as a team player Additionally, you will be subject to government background investigation including a credit check and criminal history review. Candidates located in the San Antonio Texas area preferred. Will consider a possible telecommute position for highly qualified candidates.
