We are actively seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Computer Engineer who will be primarily responsible for supporting Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) EN-EZ at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The Engineering Directorate (AFLCMC/EN-EZ) has the collective AFMC mission responsibility for preeminent engineering expertise to acquire and support war-winning capabilities. AFLCMC/EN-EZ is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) OH with major units located at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) FL, and Hanscom AFB, (HAFB) MA, as well as additional locations across the United States (US). The Engineering Directorate is currently organized into the following divisions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Develop, modify, review, and comment on Armament Cybersecurity Branch products or associated higher level cybersecurity policies and guidance documents. Support the Weapons Approving Official and SCA as needed. Advise and assist in reviewing and commenting on required program office artifacts and make recommendations to the Weapons SCA in support of the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization process. Advise and assist in evaluating the technical implementation of the security design to ascertain that security software, hardware, and firmware features affecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and non- repudiation have been implemented. Conduct hardware and software assurance assessments. Represent the Armament Cybersecurity Branch in meetings and working groups to include developing and presenting approved briefings/positions. Provide customer service to program office personnel for armament cybersecurity related activities. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Clearance: Top Secret or ability to obtain a Top Secret Engineering Candidates must have no less than: a Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school and twelve (12) years experience OR a Master's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school and (10) years experience Cybersecurity Specialist candidates must have no less than a bachelor's degree from an institution that administers a computer science degree currently accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the ABET Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II or III cybersecurity certification: CAP or CASPCE or CISM or CISSP or GSLC or CCISO Knowledge and experience with technical and engineering acquisition support for embedded systems such as weapons systems Knowledge and experience with system security engineering to include Supply Chain Risk Management, hardware and software assurance, program protection planning, risk-based analysis and running STIGs Working Conditions and Physical Requirements May be required to lift 15 lbs.
