Senior Data Scientist
LHH is in search of a skilled Senior Data Scientist for a growing client of ours in the Bay Area. This position plays a pivotal role in transforming how our client engages with prospects and existing clients. As a
Senior Data Scientist
on the team, you will: Key Responsibilities Develop Data Solutions Build incentive personalization models to enhance client engagement.
Perform data analysis to uncover insights and refine marketing strategies.
Create scalable data science pipelines for automating decision-making processes.
Design and Analyze Experiments Design robust A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to assess various incentive strategies.
Conduct causal inference analyses to guide decision-making and measure the impact of interventions.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally Partner with marketing, CRM, product, engineering, and finance teams to understand business challenges.
Translate business needs into actionable data science projects.
Clearly communicate insights, methods, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications Required Experience and Skills Experience : 3+ years in a data science role with a demonstrated ability to deliver practical, impactful solutions.
Education : Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in
Python
and
SQL
for data analysis and modeling.
Hands-on experience with
experiment design ,
A/B testing , and
causal inference .
Solid understanding of
statistical modeling
and advanced data analysis techniques.
Communication and Collaboration : Proven ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Preferred Skills Familiarity with tools and platforms such as
Tableau ,
Spark , or
AWS
for data visualization and processing.
Background in the
incentives ,
promotions , or
marketing analytics
domain.
