About the Opportunity A technology consulting firm specializing in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and software implementation is seeking a Data Engineer. Their goal is to conduct critical analysis for their clients by delivering high-impact technology and strategic results for businesses across the US to fund ways to leverage new and emerging technologies.
Job Details As a Data Engineer, you would be contributing to their data and software engineering team to provide technical support to their architecture, developmental, and programming requirements. You will work across to support the federal government to develop data pipelines, models, reports and analytics to improve processes.
This position requires candidates to be onsite and hold an active TS/SCI Full-Scope Poly.
Responsibilities Knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools and data visualization software Data cleaning and transformation Extracting and aggregating structured/unstructured data Experience with data programming languages and tools with Python and R Experience with SQL and similar database language Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
Design and optimization Data Pipelines with Spark, Hudi, EMR cloud services, and Kubernetes Provide Advanced Database Administration support in Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB Develop API connectors to enable data catalog entries from databases and files Completion of a bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar technical background Holds an active TS/SCI FullScope Poly
