The Director of Operations is the mediator of information between the locations and our corporate team. They are responsible for maintaining our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The Director of Operations is also responsible for managing the units in accordance with the approved budget while meeting company expectations. In addition, this role will maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests and clients, as well as, other departments. Overseeing multiple locations throughout the country, this individual must be a pioneer in service and take on the responsibility to lead the concept to success.
Responsibilities: • Maintain our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction manage the units in accordance with the approved budget while meeting guest expectations. • Maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests and vendors, as well as, other departments within the operation. • Participate in employee meetings, reviews and training programs while promoting the professional growth and development of the entire team. • Must have a financial acumen for all areas including financial reporting with sales reports, P&L, write and adhere to annual budgets and cash handling, and analyze and trend financial data. • Ensure their units are constantly adjusting to achieve the best possible service standards under enough profitability objectives and legal guidelines for our company. • Authorize hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other status change of location associates • Serve as a resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues The ideal candidate: • Requires 6-8 years of management experience in high volume, multi-unit Food and Beverage operations or other related management experience • Possesses strong leadership skills, extremely detail oriented, incredible interpersonal skills, with a solid understanding of human resources, operations and budget compliance. • Responsible for accomplishing business goals through a culture of leadership, hospitality, positive guest and staff experience and fiscal achievement. • Experience with new restaurant openings, or a good idea of what it takes to do so is a must. • Requires excellent time and project management skills, as well as proven presentation skills • Demonstrates knowledge of product, quality, and operational standards • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner including executive team, vendors, and a very diverse group of hourly associates • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests and employees
