**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
**Must-Have:** EPIC EMR experience preferred, ability to pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during the first week of assignment
**Job Description:**
- Abide by the 75-mile straight line radius rule; no local travelers. - Ensure candidate awareness of submission and prohibit direct contact with the facility. - Submit candidates with at least two references (one from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. - Shifts may vary with flexibility to start 30 minutes earlier as necessary from Monday to Friday. - Share call responsibilities with three other RNs, with a 30-minute call response time—call responsibilities include weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. and rotating weekend calls. - Must fulfill department staffing needs, including on-call, weekends, and holidays as required. - Be prepared to float within the facility and alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of the permanent assigned location. - Orientation occurs in the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. - Facility-provided scrubs are required. - No holiday time off will be approved for travelers. - Ensure accurate submission of social security number and date of birth to avoid onboarding issues.
