About the Role

Accountant , you will play a critical role in managing financial processes to support the company's operational success. From reconciliations to journal entries and financial reporting, this position offers a mix of routine and dynamic accounting responsibilities.
Overview of the Accountant Role:
Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Review and process accounts payable transactions with efficiency and precision.
Prepare journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
Manage property closings by:
Balancing sheet accounts.
Preparing journal entries for taxes and insurance.
Reviewing the general ledger to maintain accuracy.
Generating comprehensive reports.
Address special accounting requests as needed to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant:
Our client is seeking candidates who bring:
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is required; previous property accounting experience is a strong plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Yardi is highly desirable.
