Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Fort Worth, TX Acclaim Multispecialty Group, in partnership with John PeterSmith Hospital, is recruiting for a fellowship trained trauma critical caresurgeon with research experience and interest to staff our ACS-verified Level Iand emergency general surgery-verified hospital. Located in Fort Worth, Texas,JPS Health is the safety net hospital for Tarrant County, evaluating over127,000 emergency department patients, 60,000 urgent care patients, and 3,400trauma patients with a penetrating rate of 18%. We evaluate over 3,000emergency general surgery patients per year, of which 1800-2000 patientsrequire operative intervention. Our acute care surgery service is divided among5 teams, plus SICU and geriatric trauma services. We are integrated with theBaylor University Medical Center general surgery residency and we have rotatinggeneral surgery residents from the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in ElPaso and Baylor All Saints Medical Center. In addition, we have severalrotating residents on the surgery services and very experienced AdvancedPractice Providers.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved school of Medicine/Osteopathy Board Certified/Board Eligible in surgical critical care required 3-5 years of experience preferred in Level I trauma center 2-3 years of research experience including publications in peer-reviewed journals and obtaining extra-mural funding Required Licensures/Certification Board eligible or board certified in specialty Texas Medical License
