Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. You will focus on improving the quality of iOS/macOS features for millions of customers. Rate Range: $55/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Software Engineer job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and enhance iOS/macOS applications to improve functionality and user experience. Focus on improving the quality and performance of shipping iOS/macOS features, ensuring they meet customer expectations. Troubleshoot, identify and resolve bugs and software defects to maintain application stability. Optimize code for performance, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring smooth operation across devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and integrate solutions. Utilize Xcode, Instruments, and XCTest framework for debugging and testing to resolve performance issues. Document design, code, and testing processes to ensure clarity and consistency for future development. Stay up to date with the latest iOS/macOS development trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in iOS/macOS software development. Strong proficiency in Objective-C and Swift, with experience using UIKit, Foundation, and Xcode.
