TS/SCI - Polygraph required 05-109-SWE Description: This group of high-performing developers and engineers is shaping the modernization of geolocation products supporting the warfighter. You'll be exposed to multiple discipline areas such as UI, front-end, back-end and/or full-stack development, and algorithm development. This team is creating a next generation product, incorporating and improving legacy capabilities, and working directly with the user base to improve the user experience and ensure new features and capabilities exceed expectations. The Level 2 Software Engineer (SWE) shall possess the following capabilities: Job Description: Develop new capabilities, primarily in Java, including the integration of components and Common Services libraries. Manage existing software baseline and sustain operational systems as needed. Skill Requirements: Required Skills: Experience with Enterprise Java development. Experience developing Service oriented architectures. Experience developing Microservice solutions. Database experience such as Mongo or MySql. Experience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large and small scale platforms. Desired Skills: Experience with Java Spring Framework (e.g. Spring Boot). Experience with Elasticsearch. Experience with Java development IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse). Experience with Agile development practices. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Experience with Gitlab. Experience with container technologies (e.g. Docker). Qualifications: Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Salary Range: $140k-$260k (Annually) The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
