PRACTICE SPECIFICS

The Essentia Primary Care Physician works as a leader of a Care Team. Utilizing Essentia Care Processes, the physician works collaboratively with other health care team members to achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients and families.

Outpatient practice no inpatient/hospitalist coverage required

Highly-engaged Primary Care team currently consisting of 1 internist, 1 family physician and 7 advanced practice practitioners supporting family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics.

Optometry and surgery also on site with outreach service from many other specialties

Work schedule: 32 – 34 patient contact hours a week

Clinic patients average 16-18/day

OB is optional

BC/BE in Family Medicine

Wahpeton, ND is located at the head of the Red River of the North

Located 50 miles south of Fargo, ND
