Nurse Practitioner Advanced Heart Disease

Providence Spokane Heart Institute at Sacred Heart Medical Center is seeking an experienced, full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its Advanced Heart Disease and Transplant Service team in Spokane. Mix of inpatient and outpatient care, no surgical assist
Schedule will include a 7-day inpatient rotation with inpatient call, plus 9 outpatient days per month
Strong academic- and research-oriented practice
Pre or post-graduate acute care experience is required
3 to 5 years of post-graduate nurse practitioner experience is preferred.
Cardiology, heart-failure, or transplant experience is preferred.
No state income tax in Washington state (federal income tax still applies)
As a non-profit organization, Providence qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
Signing bonuses and relocation benefits available.
Compensation is between $127,217 and $170,204 per year
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them

The Providence Heart Institute is an integrated cardiovascular service line with more than 80 specialists serving hospital and clinic locations throughout Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” designation for coronary artery disease care.
