REMOTE Automation Quality Engineer Job at Insight Global in Fullerton

Job Description An employer for a large insurance company is looking for a REMOTE Automation Quality Engineer to join the team of 5 members. This person will be supporting the QA Automation Framework Transformation within their IT team. This person should be strong technically in QA Automation (Java/Selenium, UI testing, API testing) and transfer to release to the functional side. 100% of this role will be focused on the Automation framework. This person can be working on 3 different layers of QA Automation: Developing/Coding on Automation Framework (implementing new functionality, rewriting/enhancing framework, etc) Creating common libraries for applications Changing data and writing scripts Role is 100% REMOTE but must work in PST zone. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college (Computer Science/Engineering Degree - equivalent or technical field) High Tech Company Experience (Silicon Valley or Start Up Company) 3 years of experience with QA Automation/SDET/Quality Engineering 3 years of experience API testing - using Soap UI/Postman 3 years of experience with Java programming experience 3 years of experience with Selenium Web Driver UI Testing Experience with Jenkins / CI CD (Done automation tooling) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, & fast learner Ability to self-learn and collaborate within groups Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Python Programming Language SQL scripting / writing complex queries null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
