Requirements:Key Responsibilities Included:
- Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Management program requirements as priority one while always acting in a safe manner
- Perform data entry tasks, including entering, updating, and maintaining records related to hazardous waste management using Environmental Safety and Occupational Health- Management Information System (EESOH-MIS).
- Coordinate and organize administrative activities, such as filing, document management, and correspondence
- Support the facility's compliance efforts by accurately documenting waste handling procedures, inspections, and incident reports
- Collaborate with team members to compile and analyze data, generate reports, and assist with training presentations as required
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism
- Perform duties in-person at a facility on a military installation
- Pick-up, organize, and deliver supplies and materials
- Office cleaning and general housekeeping
- Complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines
- Respond to internal and external customers appropriately and respectfully while meeting their requests in a timely manner
- Operate a variety of modern office equipment, including, personal computers and related software
- Always act respectfully, be a good teammate, and a positive interface for clients
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry or administration are a plus
- Proven experience in data entry and administrative tasks, preferably in a hazardous waste management or environmental compliance setting
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and data management software; familiarity with EESOH-MIS is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to pass background checks for military installation access
- Valid Driver’s license
- Able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Excellent customer services skills
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
