Part Time Warehouse Worker Job at TEKsystems in Torrance

TEKsystems is searching for a part-time Warehouse Worker for a client in the Torrance, CA area. This worker will be assisting warehouse management with material handling, inventory management, and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. Accurately record and report any discrepancies.
• Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage. Conduct regular inventory audits.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and update inventory systems as required.

Details:

• Part-Time Schedule: Morning shifts, half-day schedule, Mon-Fri
• Position Length: 3-4 months, potential to be extended longer or convert to FTE
• Pay Rate: $18-20/hour
