Job Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, accurately pulling and preparing orders, managing stock levels, and ensuring an organized, clean warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable, with a commitment to upholding Faithco’s standards in every aspect of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery, ensuring correct items and quantities are prepared.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming materials, verify quantities, and check for damages or discrepancies, reporting any issues to management.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory, assist in cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records in our inventory management system.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by following organizational systems and safety protocols.
- Stocking & Replenishment: Restock shelves and maintain an orderly stock layout, ensuring items are easy to locate and accessible.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including purchasing and service teams, to ensure materials are ready and available when needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Driving: Must have a clean driving record, and able to drive a truck and trailer.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; basic knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: Proactive, dependable, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various teams and communicate effectively.
