Description:

The Warehouse Manager at Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group will oversee all warehouse operations for our Chevrolet dealership and the Tri-County Trucks and Equipment division. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing storage solutions, and maintaining high standards of safety and organization within the warehouse.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of parts and equipment.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track stock levels, manage reorder points, and minimize excess inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of parts and equipment.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Schedule and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments.


Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions for staff.
  • Address any safety concerns and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Technology Utilization:

  • Utilize warehouse management software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in warehouse management.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
