Description:

The Warehouse Operator is an individual that will understand all the aspects of warehousing and shipping of seed products. The individual must follow all procedures that are both verbal and written to ensure the seed quality to include but not limited to ISO procedures. The position does require certain physical attributes in order to complete the warehousing of the product. The individual must have the ability to read and comprehend what each product description is and how it is packaged and warehoused to maintain the quality and accuracy of the product for the customers. The position will involve other areas of seed production and a general knowledge is required.

Requirements:

· Perform all work activities in a safe manner

· Follow policies and procedures to ensure quality in area of responsibility

· Communicating effectively and positively to all personnel and customers

· Ensure all paperwork is complete and information is accurate

· Making sure warehousing and shipping of product is completed timely and accurately

· Maintain a clean and well-organized work area

· Performing additional duties as directed by Department supervisor

· Forklift experience a plus
