Job Description
Shift: Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
(Flexibility required—may need to cover other shifts as needed)
About the Role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient product receiving, storage, and shipping. You'll focus on meeting key performance targets for accuracy and productivity while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. If you're a hands-on leader who can motivate a team and streamline operations, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operations: Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective processes.
- Safety & Efficiency: Promote a safe workplace and ensure materials-handling equipment is used properly.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates, supporting their growth and performance.
- Maintain Inventory Integrity: Safeguard inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with buyers and operations management to solve issues related to stock shortages or damages.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data to recommend cost-saving and operational enhancements.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or general equivalency degree required
- Experience: Prior warehouse management experience with a focus on inventory control and distribution.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Team Player: Ability to lead by example and work effectively across departments.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and open to improving processes.
- Flexibility: Must be willing to cover other shifts as needed to support the team.
