Our top-rated team at The UPS Store family is growing! We have expanded our operation, we are looking for the best sales associates to help spread our award-winning customer service throughout the community. We have 4 top-rated locations and growing quickly. Previous UPS Store experience, bilingual, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills, and computer savvy a PLUS, but not required. This is not your average retail sales position and we are looking for achievers who want to grow a career. We have locations in Pacific Beach, Midway, Uptown, and the South Bay and are looking for flexible candidates who can spread the word about all of our services. Each location gets between 100-400 customers a day but many do not know all the services we offer. It will be your responsibility to communicate and engage these folks to better serve them and grow the store. This is not an easy job, but it is extremely rewarding
ABOUT THE JOB:
Purpose:
Sell The UPS Store products and services to customers while maintaining the professional, positive, and service-centric attitude promoted by Double Dubs Inc. Sales Associates are the best representation of our brand and store image and are responsible for delighting our customers while ensuring the store operates efficiently.
Knowledge:
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Tasks
Working Directly with Store Manager and Company Officials
• Expected to carry out requests and duties dictated by Company officials and Store Manager in relation to operational and sales duties.
• Subject to quarterly performance reviews with Company officials
Working Directly with Customers
• Provide excellent customer service by properly greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Check and respond to emails
• Upselling
• Daily duties including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing shelves and displays, packing, moving and relocating boxes, cleaning floors and backroom, selling merchandise, notarizing, operating and stocking equipment for printing and packing.
• All duties related to selling and executing mailbox, printing, shipping/packing, notary, faxing, scanning, and shredding services
o Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds as directed by The UPS Store training manuals.
• Follow safety, health, and security rules.
Thinking Creatively
• Observe customer requests, habits, and trends to communicate with Company officials. Utilize this experience to pitch new sales and/or marketing ideas.
• Offer proactive suggestions on different workflows or store layouts in an effort to increase organization and efficiency.
