Eco Green Office Cleaning Services is hiring: Janitorial Supervisor - Part-Time

Eco Green Office Cleaning Service is on the grow again! We are in need of a part time lead to work along side our cleaners showing them what good looks like! We require 2 years in a lead or manager capacity in the Janitorial Industry

Responsibilities Include:

• Working approximately 15-20 hours a week

• 3-5 hour shifts after normal business hours.
• Monday to Friday

• Supervise the cleanings of buildings and manage janitorial staff in various locations throughout the Southside Hampton Roads area (Chesapeake, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth)

• Train janitorial staff (perform interviews with new applicants and on-site trainings with new employees)

• Complete cleaning inspections, and if necessary, perform the duties outlined in the scope of work.

• Promptly fill in/float to cover shifts when a technician is unable to complete their assigned work or arrange for floater fill-in.

• Use exceptional customer service skills to sustain strong, productive relationships with both clients and employees.

• Coordinate and closely monitor work shifts to ensure smooth operations.

• Fill-out inspection reports, update payroll changes, and manage janitorial software on a daily basis. Basic computer skills are required for this role.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a talent for creating a productive and harmonious work environment, with a proven track record of effectively addressing challenges.

Requirements:

• Janitorial management experience.

• Must have a reliable smartphone and computer/tablet.

• Friendly and professional at all times.

• Strong knowledge of janitorial practices and procedures (training provided)

• Ability to physically clean commercial office spaces.

• Available at least five evenings a week (no overnight shifts).

• Ability to effectively manage a team of cleaning technicians.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong knowledge of computers and the ability to learn and use janitorial management software on a daily basis.

• Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with staff members and address any concerns or issues.

• Be able to pass a drug test

• Have a personal reliable vehicle (car insurance required)

• Have a valid driver's license

• Ability to pass a background check
