Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring timely and complete compliance relating to product regulations, customs compliance as needed, reporting of product-related criteria to appropriate regulatory authorities, manufacturing facility-related regulatory reporting, and completing both federal and state fleet-related reporting. This role will be responsible for management of technical product documentation, and has the potential to be involved with customers, vendors and partners. The position will provide ongoing support for several products and facilities, requiring a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Administrative support of both domestic and international product registrations and label database; coordinate with Horizon’s international representatives and partners to achieve timely product registrations and maintain them on an ongoing basis;
- Administrative support of product-related documentation such as MSDS, TDS, tonnage reporting, state-specific product reporting, etc.;
- Assist with reporting to EPA (MSGP, SWPPP), MSHA (7000-2), OSHA-300, state regulatory entities, and other stakeholders for production facilities and mining operations;
- Support state and federal product renewals, OMRI, and EcoCERT registrations;
- Administrative support within databases related to certificate of insurance (COI)
- Administrative support with fleet regulatory items and correspond with appropriate DOT, state, and federal entities to ensure appropriate and up-to-date documentation;
- Support monitoring regulatory requirements from jurisdictions in which the company is active to ensure Horizon maintains knowledge and understanding of strategic decisions in regulatory environment;
- Customs support: provide regulatory requirements necessary for shipping and receiving (e.g. international customs import/export requirements by product type, SDS, product-specific HS codes, labels, certificates of analysis, etc.) on an as-need basis.
- The individual in this position will be trained on duties that are department-specific (regulatory in nature).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Detail oriented
- Thrive in supporting strong organization and process controls;
- Relevant registration and document control experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and teammate relationships
- Administrative experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to quickly learn technology
- High School Diploma required; college preferred
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
