Job Description:

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Spanish Bilingual Case Managers to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating workforce services and supporting participants in overcoming barriers to employment. As a Senior Counselor, you will work directly with clients to help them enhance their education, employment skills, and guide them through the process of finding and retaining employment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English and passionate about helping people achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive case management services to individuals with significant barriers to employment, including those receiving long-term Cash Assistance, individuals with a history of sanctions or non-compliance, and ex-offenders.
  • Assess participants employment readiness, conduct job readiness screenings, and develop individualized Employment Plans based on participant needs.
  • Evaluate barriers to employment and determine appropriate program placements for each participant.
  • Coordinate and connect clients with appropriate workforce services and resources, including job readiness training, employment opportunities, and community resources (e.g., childcare, housing assistance, etc.).
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure successful participation and progress toward employment goals.
  • Offer ongoing employment counseling, job leads, and retention services to help clients find, secure, and maintain employment.
  • Initiate non-compliance procedures for participants who fail to meet program requirements and support corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to assess customer needs, enhance program services, and implement innovative strategies.
  • Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, documenting client progress, barriers, and service outcomes.
  • Provide high-level customer service, educating program participants about program services, requirements, and resources.
  • Perform lead duties as required, and support program operations in meeting service delivery goals.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals facing long-term unemployment, ex-offenders, and those receiving public assistance (e.g., TANF).
  • Strong understanding of workforce development programs, particularly employment and training services.
  • Ability to assess client needs, develop effective plans, and connect participants with appropriate resources.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using multiple databases and software applications for case management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, stakeholders, and community partners to achieve client success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for helping others overcome barriers to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a government-sponsored workforce development program (e.g., TANF, Employment First).
  • Case management certification or related training.
