Our client, University of Michigan, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the College of Engineering, supporting the department . The ideal candidate will have intermediate to senior-level administrative expertise, strong event planning skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Administrative Assistant

**Location:** Ann Arbor, MI

**Pay Range:** $20.00 - 22.00 per hour - WEEKLY PAY!

**What's the Job?**

+ Manage and coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and office logistics.

+ Coordinate with vendors, facilities, and other university departments to arrange catering, room setup, AV requirements, and other event logistics.

+ Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning while adhering to department and university policies.

+ Act as a liaison between students, faculty, and administrative staff, assisting with requests, troubleshooting issues, and connecting individuals to appropriate resources.

+ Assist with special projects, such as grant applications, research initiatives, and departmental reviews, as assigned by department leadership.

**What's Needed?**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administrative support or a related field.

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an administrative role, preferably in higher education or a research-intensive environment.

+ Demonstrated expertise in event planning and coordination.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other office software; familiarity with university systems is a plus.

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
