We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Administrative Assistant for a temp-hire opening in the construction and/or manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain executive schedules, including arranging appointments and meetings
• Prepare and distribute important correspondence, memos, and reports
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation ,RFQ's and bids
• Maintain and update project files and databases
• Organize and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and special events
• Provide general administrative support to project teams and executives
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven administrative or clerical experience, preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with construction documentation and terminology is a plus
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
