Pay

  • $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually
  • Performance-based Pay or Bonus available

Responsibilities

We are seeking an independent contractor to join our team in the role ofAdministrative Assistant, supporting our non-profit trade association as we expand and enhance our operations. Our association is deeply engaged in advocacy, network event planning, and membership management using NoviAMS. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in the Office365 suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software. Additionally, the ability to design digital flyers and artwork for events is essential. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's growth and success.

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director
  • Utilize Office365, Google, Adobe, and other professional tools
  • Assist in managing membership using NoviAMS (experience with Novi not required)
  • Handle email and schedule management efficiently
  • Collaborate with event committee chairpersons to create and manage events
  • Serve as liaison with membership point of contact (POC)
  • Design digital flyers for Novi
  • Attend essential events including Golf, Annual Business Meeting, Winter Gala, and State Convention

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with digital platforms and application usage preferred;no specific licenses required
  • Independent contractor status required
  • Completion of DISC and Working Genius assessments to foster a healthy workplace culture
  • Proficiency in Office365; familiarity with Google is essential, and Adobe proficiency is advantageous
  • Ability to manage daily tasks flexibly
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-starter mentality
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
