Legal Administrative Assistant – Tampa, FL


Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in construction litigation? Join our dynamic legal team as a Legal Administrative Assistant in Tampa, FL. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in litigation support to help our attorneys excel in state and federal cases.


Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a legal administrative assistant with a focus on litigation, including construction litigation.
  • Familiarity with trial preparation is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Filesite or iManage is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with E-filing in Federal and Florida State Courts is required.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, and revise legal documents.
  • Organize and manage electronic documents.
  • Schedule court appearances, depositions, and manage calendaring.
  • Handle time entry and client billing.
  • Maintain and organize files and records.
  • Submit new business intake forms and conduct conflicts checks.
  • Schedule travel, appointments, and meetings for attorneys.
  • Maintain attorneys’ calendars and contact lists.
  • Provide backup coverage for other Legal Administrative Assistants as needed.
