What you’ll do
The Senior Data Analyst reports to the Senior Director, Data Solutions and plays a critical role within the Data Solutions team, contributing to iSeatz data strategy with an emphasis on client-facing analytical support.
In this role, you will be a strategic data partner, supporting the Client Delivery Excellence team in making data-driven decisions that drive impactful business outcomes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Product and Commercial—you will identify opportunities for growth and improvement that align with both client and company goals. You’ll provide high-quality, actionable insights and ensure these are effectively communicated across all stakeholders, including executives. By fostering strong relationships with internal teams and clients, you will help meet and exceed client needs while promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making and best practices throughout iSeatz.
Your Impact
iSeatz & Client Collaboration:
Collaborate with the client delivery excellence team and internal departments (Product, Marketing, Engineering, Client Services) to ensure data-driven decisions align with both iSeatz’s and the client’s business strategies.
Serve as the main data liaison between iSeatz, the client, and relevant stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership teams in a clear and impactful manner.
Be the primary point of contact for executives, facilitating seamless communication and delivery of insights, including preparation and presentation of content in quarterly business reviews.
Skillfully prioritize and manage competing projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment between internal and external stakeholders. Anticipate and address shifting priorities, while maintaining focus on both business objectives and client satisfaction.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify key trends and actionable insights.
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau to track business performance.
Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools for advanced data analysis, providing strategic recommendations based on insights.
Data Governance & Strategy:
Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring data integrity, security, and privacy standards are upheld.
Support the broader iSeatz data strategy, aligning client-specific projects with the company’s long-term data objectives.
Mentorship & Leadership:
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts, ensuring consistent development of analytical skills within the team.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and reporting, driving operational efficiencies across the organization.
What you bring to the table
5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with proven experience supporting large-scale financial institutions or complex, enterprise-level organizations.
Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and advanced SQL skills, with proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and a solid understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects in dynamic environments with competing deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, manage client relationships, and adapt communication style to diverse audiences and settings.
A strong sense of professionalism when working with clients, particularly large-scale financial institutions, balanced with the ability to embrace and thrive in iSeatz's unique, innovative team culture.
Bonus points
Familiarity with machine learning techniques or advanced statistical analysis; e.g. time series forecasting, anomaly detection
Prior experience working with large clients in a B2B environment, particularly in tech, banking, or travel sectors.
Exposure to ETL processes and data pipeline management.
Experience with Adobe Analytics and reporting.
Location
This role is remote-first and can be located anywhere inside the continental United States. iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours, but feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer!
