Description W2 only due to converting fulltime Remote- Local to Texas preferring Houston residence MUST have data governance experience Our client is in need of an Analyst to help them with the development of their "Process Catalog". This person would be responsible for interviewing the IT teams supporting their big data platform, documenting their processes, identifying any gaps, and then create Visio diagrams and upload these into a centralized location (SharePoint) so they can be accessible to employees. As it relates to their data platform - a lot of processes are embedded in PowerPoint. It’s not centralized and there aren't any Visio diagrams. Need someone to help jumpstart them on that model. For example, anytime there’s a process or policy, here’s the sequence of events for presenting for approval. Once approved, that would get converted to this centralized place. Example of a process – exports. If they want their exports to be automated, what does that process look like. From a workflow perspective, work with the SMEs to understand how they approve it internally, then identify how it trickles back out to the developers, etc. Data harmonization – what does that look like. Every year, they have to do a data maturity assessment as mandated by the state. Through this, they are identifying that there are gaps in documentation. They have so many presentations but nothing is documented to be referenceable for policies. Everything will be housed in SharePoint.
