Overview:

We are searching for a Sales Analyst to join our team and support our sales organization by compiling and analyzing sales and market data to better assist in our organization to sell more effectively and support our current customers

Sales Analyst responsibilities will include data analysis of past sales and future forecast along with item inventory levels. Additionally, this individual will support in new item launch through item setup, specification entry, and distributor setup.

The Sales Analyst will play a critical role in delivering company financial goals through price change support, accounts receivable support, and managing our customer sample budget.

Ultimately, the Sales Analyst will work with our sales team to improve how we best manage our current accounts but also progress our sales process to close and onboard more strategic business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop & Maintain sales performance reports and dashboards leveraging Microsoft BI, D365 and Excel
  • Analyze industry market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing to assist in the analysis of business performance.
  • Assist in account management through new item setup, cost change forms, quality documentation, and new distribution setup.
  • Customer freight component analysis Analyze and understand timing of cost change for pallets, fuel surcharge and pick up rates. Liaison between account managers and internal logistics to obtain updated inputs and ensure properly reflected in customer documentation.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy provided by customer and provide demand recommendations based off of historical performance and future business initiatives.
  • Maintain and analyze customer sample process and budget associated by sales manager.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management dashboards and days on hand reports to support our brands.
  • Communicate critical supply chain issues to sales stakeholders and develop resolution plans.
  • Identify and communicate at risk items.
  • Analyze competitor landscape to assess market trends and identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Support the sales team in creating sales presentations and proposals by providing data driven insights.
  • Coordinates and communicates sales strategies, initiatives, and other relevant information to key internal stakeholders.
  • Project/Workfront Management Assist account managers with follow ups on projects
  • Assisting with RFP submissions, entry management, and documentation requests.
  • Analyze and understand corporate distributor programs and contracts to help support and identify gaps in payment terms, deduction methodology, and complaint protocol.


Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelors degree in business administration from an accredited college or university or equivalent

Experience:

3 or more years of relevant experience in sales, customer service or marketing.
