- Proven experience as a data analyst or reporting analyst in an IT environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Workday Prism).
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of IT operations and terminology is a plus.
- Automate routine reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by stakeholders.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
- Train end-users on accessing and utilizing reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources, including databases, logs, and external systems, and perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Report Development: Design and create custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Data Validation: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly auditing and validating the information used in reports.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Trend Identification: Monitor IT trends, emerging technologies, and industry benchmarks to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to understand their reporting needs and provide timely and relevant data insights.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data sources, and report definitions to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to reporting processes and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of IT reporting.
