Corestaff Services is hiring: Forklift Operator in Austin

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Work across all areas of the warehouse including Pre-Sold Furniture, Flooring, and Asset Management. Work within the safety standards. Assist in all shipping and receiving duties.

• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 Per hour (DOE)
• Location: Austin, TX 78744
• Shift: 1st

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, tag, store, and pull Pre-Sold and Flooring product.
• Enter inventory in database, receive, process Work Orders, manage emails and Team calendar, enter storage billings, assist in research and provide reports Inventory, maintain and manage database, store and pull Customer Owned furniture.
• Inspect for damage, properly tag, scan, and place product
• Process damaged product, flooring remnants, returned Pre-Sold and Flooring product, and stock.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in Cycle Counts
• Read paperwork to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed or loaded onto trucks
• Use forklift, clamp truck, and order selector to unload and move product following safety procedures at all times
• Prepare product for shipment and inspect for quality
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse area

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 1 to 2 years work experience
• 6+ months of shipping and receiving experience

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, work calmly through many interruptions, and skills for time management and organization
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, research, mechanical aptitude and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, communication, and computer skills
• Ability to learn and pass safety driver’s training program.
• Forklift Certification preferred
