We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the service industry, specifically for a Network Security Administrator role located in Naples, Florida. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the security measures within our IT structure.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining security standards, risk assessments, documentation, and procedures related to our information services, business continuity, and disaster recovery environments.
• Keeping a vigilant eye on data logs and alerts generated from monitored security events, including data loss protection and data movement.
• Serving as the primary technical contact to address information security issues, concerns, or questions raised by users or support staff, and escalating when necessary.
• Assisting in the timely delivery of important security developments, escalations, and activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Conducting research on new and emerging security technologies to ensure we maintain high levels of performance.
• Participating in technical audits to ensure we comply with security policies and other industry standards.
• Performing root-cause analysis on information security related incidents, updating procedures or other controls to prevent future incidents, and determining and implementing enhancements to improve security.• Proficient understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Experience with Checkpoint technology
• Familiarity with Cisco ASA and Cisco ASA Firewall
• Ability to work with Cisco Routers
• Strong knowledge of Authentication processes
• Expertise in Check Point systems
• Experience with Checkpoint Firewall
• Understanding of Computer Hardware
• Proficiency in Configuration Management
