Frontline Security Services is a highly professional private security firm seeking qualified candidates to join our event and contract team in the Saginaw, Bay City and Flint areas. Candidates must have security guard training/experience. The position requires strong communication skills, a command presence, report writing capabilities, as well as the ability to act in a customer service capacity.

We are a 24/7 company so team members need to be able to work the shifts and locations as needed by our clients. In addition to the requirement of military and/or law enforcement/security training and experience, this position requires a clean criminal record and a positive employment history. Qualified candidates will undergo extensive interviews as well as comprehensive background/criminal history investigations. Candidates with a military background must provide a copy of their latest DD214.

Security Officer Job Duties:

  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
  • Obtains help by sounding alarms.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
  • Controls traffic by directing drivers.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
